The first “Batman” movie from director Tim Burton was a huge hit. It only made sense to continue the story and go forward with sequels. ‘Batman’ (1989) movie review
Tim Burton seemed like the perfect director to bring a realistic version of Batman to the bring screen. Up until then, the only super hero to succeed at the box office was Superman.
