Horrible Bosses (2011) — Movie Review

Is it just me or is Jason Bateman in every other movie these days?  I’m pretty sure I saw him in the Battle of Hogwarts…anyway– he’s in Horrible Bosses, which is not a horrible movie.  I also think this is the first movie I’ve seen in theatres that had Kansas City native Jason Sudeikis in it.

‘Larry Crowne’ (2011) — movie review

It’s been a long time since Tom Hanks did anything that really made an audience care. He’s one of those actors who is usually great in whatever he is in, no matter how good or bad the movie is. Lately he has been the victim of boring roles in bland movies. In 2011, he both directed and starred in “Larry Crowne”, which despite some of its flaws is actually a fairly enjoyable movie. ‘Transformers Dark of the Moon’ is better but it’s still loud and obnoxious — movie review

I know what you’re thinking.  The first Transformers, while not a great movie, was fun and be honest– waaaaaay better than you thought it would be.  The second, on the other hand, was as bad as you thought the first could be or would be.  If you, like most people, already hated director Michael Bay…this movie only made that hatred swell.
