Great cast makes ‘Silver Linings Playbook’ a serious Oscar contender — movie review

Love is not perfect. In fact, it’s anything but. It’s amazing what draws two people together. Sometimes it’s the same thing that also drives them over the edge. Yes, there is a fine line between passionate love and complete and total insanity. “Silver Linings Playbook” touches on the state of mental illness and how loves sometimes is the one thing that can drive people apart, make them do wildly insane things and ultimately bring you to where you need to be.

James Bond is better than ever in ‘Skyfall’ — movie review

Like a lot of guys my age — or just guys in general I guess — I have been a Bond fan since I was a boy. Who could resist that cool as ice attitude, those sweet cars, the slick gadgets, traveling the globe and of course the amazing women. Over the years, the James Bond franchise has been up and down featuring a number of actors as Agent 007. Even the new “reboot”, only two movies in, has been good and — well not so good. Considering the talent, ‘The Watch’ is hard to watch– movie review (2012)

Wow. Remember when Ben Stiller used to be funny? Don’t think too long and hard, you might hurt yourself. At one time though, Stiller was a pretty funny dude. C’mon– admit it– “Zoolander”, as goofy as it is…is pretty hilarious. The same goes for Vince Vaughn. He’s another guy that was usually pretty solid even in bad movies.
